  • Charting My Path for Future Success: two research-based programs which support students with disabilities to reach their goals during and after high school: Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI)–Transition and SDLMI–Transition with Mentoring. (2/10/25)

  • UW-Madison Teacher Residency Program: three year program for 36 students to earn a masters in special education with a three year contract with Milwaukee Public Schools. Part of a $600 million cut to ED. (2/24/25)

  • USDA scholarships for tribal college students: scholarships are funded through a USDA grant, and tribal colleges are in general underfunded as a result of Congress not providing basic funding despite 1978 law. At least $7 million cut. (3/10/25)

  • Local Food for Schools Cooperative Agreement (LFS): USDA program to support underfunded schools to purchase local nutritious foods they otherwise could not have afforded. Worked with National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. $660 million cut. (3/13/25)

  • Competition for Technical Assistance and Dissemination to Improve Services and Results of Children with Disabilities and Demonstration and Training Programs - National Technical Assistance Center on Transition for Students and Youth with Disabilities: A grant application for technical assistance center which supported post-secondary transition services for students with disabilities (3/27/25)
